Mauri Sutton—Coach—is a proud husband to Tracie and proud parent in a blended family of 9 kids. (4+4+1) Like the Brady Bunch on Steroids! (Except without Alice!) Mauri has learned to appreciate every one of life’s teachings and loves to help others learn to be happy and excel from within. In addition to coaching, Mauri has worked and served as an engineer, a corporate trainer, professional teacher, Boy Scout leader, and is an award winning public speaker. He has received professional coaching training, has a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA, and sees coaching as the preferred method to improve relationships and create personal and business growth.

 

Learning to love others unconditionally is at the foundation of Mauri’s coaching. Love is what every person needs and seeks starting at birth. Unfortunately we are taught, early on, that love is something that we need to earn. Then we spend the rest of our lives trying to do things to make other people happy so that they will love us. Along those same lines we often expect things from others and it makes us “love” them when we get what we want. This whole mentality is at the root of all relationship problems.

 

When we learn to love others unconditionally we stop having expectations (and lose the ability to be disappointed). Also we stop trying to earn love from people and are able to more clearly find our sources of unconditional love as we are able to reveal our true selves. Through this we find peace and become fearless. Our ability to have ownership of our happiness is one of our greatest gifts. Mauri can help you see this.
